Connect Frondy to Claude and ChatGPT
— step by step.
Frondy is an Israeli e-signature service. Its MCP connector lets Claude and ChatGPT work in your Frondy account from the conversation: upload a contract, place signature fields, send it for signature, see who has signed, remind signers and organize folders. Everything runs with your own account's permissions and plan limits.

You paste this address in Claude. ChatGPT doesn't need it: Frondy is in ChatGPT's app directory, and you connect from there. Either way there is nothing to set up in Frondy first: you sign in and allow access from inside the assistant.
Signing in uses OAuth 2.1 on Frondy's own sign-in page, like any other sign-in. There is no API key to copy, and your password is never handed to the assistant. The assistant registers itself automatically (Dynamic Client Registration), the sign-in is protected with PKCE, and you can disconnect at any time in Settings → External connections, which ends the assistant's access immediately.

How to connect Frondy to Claude
Add the connector, sign in to Frondy once, and you're ready. Works in Claude on desktop and on the web. (For ChatGPT, see the next section.)

Add a custom connector in Claude
In the chat box choose + → Connectors → Add connector → Add custom connector.

Name it and paste the server URL
Give the connector a name (for example Frondy) and paste

Choose Connect
Open + → Connectors → Manage connectors, select Frondy under Not connected, and choose Connect.

Sign in to your Frondy account
Frondy's sign-in page opens. Sign in the way you usually do: Google, Microsoft, Apple, email and password, or an SMS code. The page is in English or Hebrew, following your browser, with a switch in the corner.

Review and allow
The next screen shows which account you signed in to and exactly what Claude will and won't be able to do. Choose Allow and connect and you're sent back to Claude, connected. To check, ask Claude "Which of my documents are waiting for a signature?"
Once · only for uploading files
Allow the storage domain so file uploads work
When you ask Claude to upload a file to Frondy, the file goes straight to Frondy's secure storage, not through the conversation. Claude's sandbox has a network egress firewall that blocks unapproved domains, so turn on egress once and add the storage domain to the allowlist:
- In Claude, open the profile menu → Settings.
- Open the Capabilities tab.
- Scroll to Allow network egress and turn it on.
- Under Domain allowlist, add this domain:
frondy-bucket-pdf.s3.eu-north-1.amazonaws.com
Without it, an upload fails with a network error such as "host not allowed". Everything else — sending for signature, folders, tracking and downloading signed copies — works without it. If Claude hits the block during an upload, it tells you the exact domain to add.
ChatGPT · App directory
How to connect Frondy to ChatGPT
Frondy is listed in ChatGPT's official app directory. No Developer mode and no server address to paste: find Frondy, sign in to your account once, and you're ready. In a ChatGPT Business or Enterprise workspace, an admin may need to allow the app first.

Find Frondy in the app directory
In ChatGPT open the app directory from the sidebar (or Settings → Apps) and search for Frondy.

Open Frondy and choose Connect
On Frondy's page choose Connect. ChatGPT takes you to Frondy's sign-in page.

Sign in with Frondy and allow
Sign in with Google, Microsoft, Apple, email and password, or an SMS code, review what ChatGPT will and won't be able to do, and choose Allow and connect. You're returned to ChatGPT, connected.

Ask ChatGPT
Ask in English or Hebrew and ChatGPT works through Frondy. If it doesn't pick Frondy on its own, choose Frondy from the + menu in the chat box and send the request again.

Access
What the assistant can and can't do
It can
- Upload documents and place signature fields
- Send for signature by email, SMS, WhatsApp or link, after showing you a summary
- Show who has signed, remind signers and give you download links
- Work with your folders, templates and contacts
It can't
- Delete documents, folders, templates or contacts
- Make purchases or change your plan, billing or admin settings
- See ID numbers or your password, or get a signer's private signing link unless you ask for one to hand over yourself
- Reach anyone else's account
Privacy and support
Good to know
The connector acts as your own account, with no special privileges: your plan limits and permissions apply exactly as in the Frondy app.
Access tokens last an hour and are renewed automatically; a connection unused for 60 days ends on its own.
The assistant receives only what it needs for what you ask, such as document names, signing status and signers' contact details, or a page of a document you ask it to look at. See the privacy policy.
You can disconnect at any time in Settings → External connections in Frondy.
Connecting an AI assistant needs a paid Frondy plan. If the sign-in says your account doesn't include AI connections, your plan details are in the Frondy app.
An account can hold up to five connections (for example Claude on several devices plus ChatGPT). If you reach the limit, disconnect one you no longer use in Settings.
